The Space Between Our Thoughts

The space between our thoughts is wherein lies our sanity.
We fill our minds not with emotions but with lack of tranquility.

Be it serene or agitated, our mental ambiance is incomplete,
for it is filled with thoughts, impressionable and not concrete.

Emotions are malleable, used to cause dismay and displeasure
Utilized against our will so our sanity may be measured

We live not to yearn
We love only to learn

For what remains of our free will one may consider as vanity
is the space between our thoughts, wherein lies our sanity.
